Set in motion

In 2021, Cameron’s life changed forever when he had an unforeseen incident with a shark. Since that time, Cameron has wanted to use his new experiences and recovery journey, to offer insight and advice to others who may have suffered injuries or traumas. From that point onwards, Cameron’s new career path was set in motion.

Driven, motivated and equipped with over 30 years of experience in the workforce, Cameron decided to reach out to several NDIS providers for support.

With a NDIS plan and Finding and Keeping a Job supports, Cameron knew the career direction he wanted to take but needed some assistance. “I reached out to several organisations about my vision and enquired about what they could offer. I was impressed with what Edge presented to me and made the decision to jump on board,” reflected Cameron about beginning his journey with Edge.

Now that Cameron is being assisted by Edge, he is enjoying developing his new skill set, and constantly improving his public speaking skills, all with the help of his NDIS Employment Support Coach.

“The Edge team has been invaluable in providing guidance and assistance in working towards my personal goal of establishing a micro enterprise. They have made me feel valued, supported and capable of progressing with my endeavours. I have been treated with respect, friendliness and consideration.”

After spending several months building his presentation package that he tailors for different audiences, we are proud to share that Cameron recently presented for the first time at LIWA Regional Conference. This opportunity was invaluable as Cameron continues on his self-development path.
