Providing awareness

Recently our Charged Up for Work Team Lead Antoinette and School and Community Liaison Officer Jenny attended the 2022 Servite College Careers Expo. They met and provided Year 11 and 12 students with information on the services and supports that people with disability can access on their employment journey.

The day was a great success with many students who did not have a disability, recognising and identifying family members and friends who would benefit from Edge’s services. Our team believe that providing awareness, information and support at expos is key to ensuring students have a positive experience through support whilst they explore their career options and venture into the working world. Awareness is also important at events so people with disability, injury, illness, health conditions (including mental health) and impairment are aware of the assistance and support that we provide.
