Mecheyla is achieving her dream

Mecheyla met Edge’s Customer Liaison Officer Nikeescha after she was referred to Edge from Alta-1 College. Nikeescha assisted her with her resume, job search and presentation skills, and discovered it was Mecheyla’s dream to become a qualified hairdresser.

Mecheyla worked with our Account Manager, Kristina, who initially helped her secure employment with Regents Barber. This allowed Mecheyla to gain relevant skills and experience whilst Kristina searched for a role in a hair salon. This opportunity was realised when Mecheyla was successfully offered a job with Supernatural Hair & Beauty Joondalup. She has now started her Certificate II in Salon Assistance and will begin her apprenticeship as a hairdresser!
