Intent to Action outlines the barriers faced by employers seeking to recruit people with a disability and explores practical solutions.
The report highlights that employers have the ‘Intent’ but are not always confident when it comes to putting plans into ‘Action’. The report therefore emphasises the challenges employers face at each stage of the disability employment process, and outlines the opportunities at their disposal to increase the representation and retention of people with disability within their workforce.
Although the findings were not surprising, it is reassuring to have statistically valid data to support our assumptions.
