Bright future ahead

We are working with a number of great partners across Perth of various sizes and industries. One of these is Water Corporation. Our Business Development Manager Daniel has been working closely with their Diversity and Inclusion Team to create opportunities for people with disability.

Lachlan is one of several School Based Trainees who recently started this year at Water Corporation. Lachlan is pictured with Edge Employer Consultant Zack.

We asked Zack what it has been like working alongside Lachlan to help him get job ready, he shared, “I have had the pleasure of getting to know Lachlan over the last two months whilst assisting with resumes and interview preparation for an exciting opportunity.

It has been great working with Lachlan who is quite the young entrepreneur. In his free time, he rides his bike with an attached wagon around on curb side collections picking out old computers and stripping them for parts and selling the copper.

Lachlan is also a massive train enthusiast with never-ending train facts to share. He is a kind young man who has a bright future ahead of him. I wish Lachlan all the best in this new chapter of his life and look forward to seeing what he achieves.”
