Alexander is a GESB superstar

Alexander is currently working as a Records Officer at Government Employees Superannuation Board (GESB). He loves his job and feels valued by everyone, “I get to meet new people and appreciate all the support from my team leaders and work colleagues.”

Alexander has a great relationship with his manager Gus, and really appreciates his support, “He is humorous and always makes time for me, meeting me every day and supporting me.”

When we asked Gus for some insight into Alexander, he said, “Alexander is a conscientious and responsible team member. He always tries his best and communicates well with his leaders and peers.”

Finding employment has changed Alexander’s life, making him feel more confident and curious. He knows what it is like to live with a disability, so to those people in the same position he would say, “It took me two years to find my perfect role. It pays to have patience.”
