A young entrepreneur in the making
You may remember Jasmine from last year’s newsletter when she graduated from Edge’s Charged Up for Work program. Jasmine was referred to our NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports this year to receive continued assistance.
With a passion for arts, crafts and colourful designs, Jasmine opened her microenterprise, Mitso Magic. She uses her talents to paint beautiful designs that are printed on cards for any occasion. They have been a major success with local businesses selling out quickly. You can find her cards on her website as well as various items including coasters, gift bags and notepads.
Our NDIS team have been assisting Jasmine in connecting to potential businesses to further sell her products. Working closely with her NDIS Consultant, Jasmine is improving her skills and gaining an understanding of the importance of good business relationships.
The growth Jasmine has displayed has been amazing to watch by our team and the local community. She now confidently markets her products with a big smile which has been noted in the positive and supportive feedback she has received.
Our Charged Up for Work and NDIS team have enjoyed supporting Jasmine’s journey and business. Next time you visit our Subiaco office, don’t forget to have a look at her cards.
