Over 300 students

We can’t believe that Project Employment has already completed 14 terms since the program started in 2021. We are proud to say that during this time, over 300 students have progressed through the seven-week work preparation component before graduating and receiving ongoing support.

Jeanette, an Education Assistant with special Needs from Duncraig Senior High School, has been involved in the program over the last few years, with various students completing the term, and we thought she would be a great person to share her view.

“As an Education Assistant I have been to four or five terms of Project Employment. It really is a fantastic program!

“The students have benefited from the whole program especially the sessions on looking at your own skills, finding a job, understanding your pay, and resume writing.

My students have also shown so much improvement in their social skills as they feel that it is a safe space to learn.

The Edge Consultants are warm, caring and professional. They really ‘make’ the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you so much for making this program available to our students.
