Enhancing our support
Our recent NDIS Development Day saw great engagement from 25 of our NDIS team members, who attended an afternoon of training and professional growth.
We were joined by Sandra, the Education Officer at SECCA (Sexuality Education Counselling and Consultancy Agency), who spoke about the services they offer to the community and how we work together to benefit our clients.
Our experienced Customer Relations Advisor, Dave, also spoke to the group about Disability Employment Services, insights into co-servicing and Edge’s integrated support model. The collaborative training shows our ‘One Edge’ philosophy to get the best results for all our clients.
Throughout the afternoon, our NDIS Supervisors facilitated insightful discussion groups on various topics, including job carving, on-the-job support, de-escalation, mental health, visual resumes, and creating an individual support plan through our tools and capacity-building matrix.
We believe by investing in our staff, we are investing in our clients. The collaborative nature of our NDIS Development Day shows the commitment and dedication of our team to continue improving our service for our clients.
