Employee of the year!

Since starting his role as a Trade Assistant at Steel Frames WA, Louis was April’s Employee of the Month and has now been recognised as Employee of the Year.

After working in another role for four and a half years, Louis was excited about a new opportunity to further his career. But with all change, comes a level of stress and fear. Having Sarah, his Edge Job Coach support with changing jobs was important for Louis.

“Edge has helped me out a lot, especially with changing jobs recently. Sarah was able to come to the workplace and meet about a traineeship I applied for, as well as assist with any anxiety about not getting the traineeship and moving jobs.”

As well as adding value to the team, Louis has been positively impacted by his employment, “I have a lot of freedom to do the things I like to do in my spare time and I now have the chance to try new things.”
