Emma is now a Chef!

Emma is now a qualified Chef and has been able to achieve her employment dream!

Four years ago, Emma sought our assistance to find her first job after having Edge’s services recommended by a family member. Since 2019, Emma has gone from strength to strength after being provided a great opportunity with a supportive employer, Café Mojo.

With an amazing employer, an incredible workplace, and the assistance of the Edge team, Emma has thrived in her role.

Edge’s support has also been beneficial to Café Mojo, with Owner Jo saying, “We put faith in Emma at the beginning and it has rewarded tenfold. Financial assistance of a wage subsidy has helped in providing extra employment support. Emma has always given 100%, and has now grown as a person and stepped up in her role.”

The Edge team has loved being a part of Emma’s employment journey from being unemployed, helping her find her first job, studying and now being qualified. When we asked Emma about her time with Edge so far, she responded, “Edge helped me get my first job, my driver’s license and to complete my Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. The Edge team has helped increase my confidence and supported me throughout my Apprenticeship.”

We can’t wait to see what Emma can achieve in the next four years.
