Edge’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

A Moment to Reflect and Celebrate Our Journey.

We recently celebrated a remarkable milestone – Edge’s 40th anniversary with our founders, past chairs, current and past Board members, key stakeholders, important partners and Edge staff.

This event marked not only the passing of four decades of dedicated work but also the profound impact Edge has had on individuals with disability, their families, and the broader Perth community. Over this time, we have found over 9,000 jobs for people with disability.

As one of Western Australia’s oldest employment agencies specialising in disability support, we reflected on the incredible strides made in disability rights, inclusion, and the changing landscape for people with disability. Over the years, we’ve witnessed the transformative power of employment, and we remain driven by our core purpose of changing lives through the power of employment.

Over the past four decades, Edge has adapted, innovated, and expanded its services, consistently focusing on empowering people with disability to access open employment.

As we celebrated this milestone, we also recognised the dedication and passion of everyone who has been part of our journey. From the early days of Edge to the innovative programs and the expanded services we offer today, the contributions of our team, clients, and partners have been instrumental in shaping who Edge is today.

Looking ahead, we remain deeply committed to our mission, with the next decades holding exciting opportunities for continued growth and progress.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without you, and we look forward to the next chapter in our shared journey.

Here’s to the next 40 years of changing lives.
