Charged Up for Work (CUFW) are charging forward

Congratulations to the 26 incredible students who have participated in our CUFW program. The students are feeling confident, and are ready to take the next step in their employment journey.

We have now successfully completed our first round of workplace preparation workshops with two cohorts of students. At the same time, Edge has been searching for placements for the 26 students, successfully securing roles in school-based traineeships, afterschool jobs and work experience opportunities.

Just recently, Keira (pictured right) was offered a placement opportunity at Spotlight. Samantha, Edge’s Project Coordinator is incredibly proud of the program and the students, “I can’t wait to see them put everything they have learned into practice. We play such a valuable role in their journey. So today I feel like a proud parent.”
