EDGE in CostThe cost of recruiting staff can run into thousands of dollars when advertising, interviewing, assessing, orienting and training are taken into account - and even then there is no guarantee of getting the right person for the job. EDGE provides all of these services, and more, at no cost to the employer or employee.
EDGE in Training and SupportEDGE will provide personalised on-the-job training to your employee with a disability until you are satisfied that the employee is meeting your expectations. Our 30-strong team of on-the-job training and support staff hold a range of professional or trade qualifications in addition to a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent.
EDGE can also provide workplace training courses to your staff at its own training facility at no cost to you. EDGE's "Mentoring Co-Workers with Disability" training course, which has been attended by more than 2,000 co-workers across the public and private sectors, provides your staff with the necessary skills and confidence to help your new employee to learn the job.
